TERMS OF SERVICE

What we sell

We sell digital products and resources for writers and authors, including workbooks, guides, templates, audio and video trainings, and coaching resources. Everything is delivered electronically. Nothing ships to you physically.

Your license: how you can use what you buy

When you buy a product, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for yourself and your own business or writing projects.

You may:

► Download, print, and use the materials for your own work.

► Use templates and worksheets to create your own books, content, and projects.

You may not:

► Share, sell, resell, give away, or post the products (or your login or download links) for others to use.

► Copy, repackage, or teach our materials as your own, or use them to create a competing product.

► Upload our materials to public websites, file-sharing sites, or tools that make them available to others.

We keep all rights to our content. Buying a product doesn't transfer ownership of it to you. Anything you create using our templates and prompts is yours.

REFUND POLICY

Prices are listed in US dollar. Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal, and we never see or store your full card details. After you pay, you'll get access by email or through a download link. If you don't receive it within 24 hours, check your spam folder, then contact us at paula@authorcareerbuilder.com, and we will sort it out. You are responsible for providing a correct email address at checkout.

All sales are final

Because digital products can't be returned, all sales are final. Please read our Refund Policy below before you buy.

Coaching and live programs

If you join a coaching program, workshop, or live event, the details (dates, format, and any extra terms) will be on the sales page or in your confirmation email. Coaching is educational and supportive. It isn't therapy, legal advice, or financial advice. See our Disclaimer below.

Your responsibilities

Please use our site and products honestly and lawfully. Don't try to hack, disrupt, or misuse the site, and don't use our materials in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone else's rights.

Third-party links and tools

Our site and products may mention or link to other websites, apps, and services. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

Limits on our responsibility

We work hard to make our products useful, but we provide them "as is," without promises about specific results. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our site or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved. Some places don't allow these limits, so they apply only as far as your local law permits.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on our site on the day you buy is the one that applies to your purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Vermont], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Refund Policy

All sales are final

Our products are digital, so you get access the moment you buy. Once you've received access to or downloaded a product, we can't take it back, so all sales are final and we don't offer refunds. You are given credit for your purchase and can apply it to a different service or digital product we offer. The credit is valid for a total of six months from the date of purchase.

Please choose with care

Before you buy, we encourage you to:

► Read the full product description and what's included.

► Check any free samples, previews, or lead magnets we offer.

►Email us at paula@authorcareerbuilder.com with questions. We're happy to help you decide if a product is a good fit.

When we will help

We want you to have a good experience, so please contact us within [14 days] of purchase if:

►You were charged more than once for the same product.

►You didn't receive your product or can't access it, and we're unable to fix the problem.

►The file is damaged or doesn't open, and we can't provide a working replacement.

In these cases, we will fix the problem, replace the product, or correct the charge. We decide the right remedy case by case.

Coaching, workshops, and live programs

Unless the sales page says otherwise, enrollment in coaching programs, workshops, and live events is also final. If you can't attend a live session, we'll tell you in your confirmation email whether a replay is provided. You will have credit to apply the payment to a future event of your choice.

Chargebacks

If you have a problem with your purchase, please contact us first. We respond quickly and would much rather solve it directly than have you dispute the charge with your bank.

Buyers outside the United States

Some countries give buyers legal rights that can't be waived, including certain rights to cancel digital purchases. If you live in one of those places, your local consumer rights still apply. Where the law allows us to deliver digital content immediately, checkout will ask you to confirm that you want immediate access and understand that you give up the right to cancel once delivery begins.
